
Isabelle Leimkuhler
Isabelle Leimkuhler is a PhD student at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, working towards her doctoral degree in Hispanic Linguistics and teaching Spanish as a Graduate Teaching Associate. She recently graduated with a Master's in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. When living in Athens, GA, she taught Spanish as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia and also taught traditional-style ESL classes alongside the online Zoom Conversation Class at Casa de Amistad. Previously, she graduated with Bachelor's degrees in Spanish, Linguistics, and Music from Ohio University in Athens, OH. While in Athens, OH, she completed a certificate in Preservice Teacher Preparation in TEFL and taught ESL for a community program called English for All.

Isabelle is so grateful to continue being a part of the Casa de Amistad team, working remotely to serve the Casa family and teaching the online Zoom Conversation Class. She's excited to continue to get to know all the incredible people in the Casa de Amistad family and to continue to follow her passion for language learning and teaching!
