Sofía Velásquez

Sofía was born and raised in Woodstock, GA. With Colombian roots, she developed a strong connection to the Spanish language and Latino culture. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Services and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work with the goal of becoming a therapist. As a social work intern at Bigger Vision, she supports individuals and families by connecting them to resources and providing compassionate care. Sofía is passionate about empowering underserved communities and is excited to use her bilingual skills to serve and stay connected through Casa de Amistad.
