
Ricardo Ramos
Ricardo Ramos is a medical student at the AU/UGA Medical Partnership and a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Health and Medical Sciences. As the son of Mexican immigrants, Spanish was his first language, shaping his commitment to serving and empowering Spanish-speaking communities.

Alongside his academic training, Ricardo is the president and executive director of GRACIAS ATL, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to higher education for Spanish-speaking students across North Georgia. Through this work, he supports students and families as they navigate educational pathways and opportunities.

Ricardo also brings a diverse professional background, including experience as a research laboratory technician, emergency medical technician, and youth soccer coach. His combined experience in healthcare, mentorship, and community leadership reflects his dedication to education, service, and community engagement.
